Ottawa, Ont. 10:40 AM June 16, 2025. It's American-owned and acts like it. Their American 1-800 number is like playing 20 questions with a robotic answering service. It's unresponsive and avoids human contact. My new acer 315 Chromebook, (May 31 2025) has a battery that hasn't held a charge for 4 days. Battery strength is below 20%, so it's plugged in. It doesn't recharge. I can hardly wait to hear their excuses. I'll comment again when I've been to their store unannounced.

This company is the absolute worst. Terrible customer service, policies that don’t allow their employees to help, rude and completely powerless humans answer their 800 # Why even have one? First time at Best Buy, definitely my last. 6 out of 66 on trust pilot says it all.

I would leave 0 stars if I could. Staff tried to rip my family off for several hundred dollars giving us an older model of the television we purchased thinking we wouldn���t notice. Had to contact Samsung to have them call the store as the manager refused to admit what they were doing. Either your staff is incompetent or is breaking the law. Be careful if you shop here.

Terrible service employees are rude

One of the managers that works there thinks he is to good to serve customers even when he is already standing right in front of the cash register what kind of bad service is that I never came across a manager no where in my life that thought he was to important to serve a customer on the cashier

Yikes Best Buy

For a store that prides itself on providing excellent customer service - they sure do disappoint. It is almost impossible to get an actual person on the phone, their customer service in person is rude and they dont properly inspect expensive stock - leading us to take a huge TV home just to discover it is missing the stand. Disappointing day. Not worth the drive.
