I really liked this place because the food tasted different than the normal restaurant (kelsey's, jack astors etc.) The mushrooms were SO YUMMY! I got the grilled veggetable burger and it was good but I would get the veggie burger next time. My bf got it and I had a bite and it was super yummy! Whenever going for a quick bite to eat, I always suggest this restaurant to friends and family, my boyfriend and I frequent the place for breakfast as well. It's usually busy, but our food is always hot and very tasty... Always exactly what I order, too, which is important to me being vegetarian. I work for a huge chain restaurant, and am sick of frozen and pre-packaged food. The Family Circle is part of a dying breed of restaurant actually serving fresh and homemade food. Anyone who has had a bad experience here should give them another chance because I personally love everything about it and can't see why anyone would have been treated badly there. Lire plus

I absolutely adore this place! I was recommended the Knotty Pine when I was told about their very inexpensive breakfast special. I didn't know what to expect for $5 but I was very impressed. The atmosphere is very quiet (partially due to the carpeted floor) and cozy. I love it! The background music is gentle and not blaring. The waitresses have been very polite, friendly and efficient! The breakfasts are probably typical breakfast fare, but it's been quick, hot, and they've had my order bang on every time! My friend and I finally got around to having a dinner instead of breakfast last week, and we were not disappointed! Perhaps small portions on the vegetables, but not on the meet or potato! The hot turkey sandwich was piled high! :) And might I add... the coffee is excellent. Any time I'm at White Oaks I'm tempted to pop in, and I'm sure I'll be making many more trips in the future! Oh... and they JUST updated their menu with a few new things on it! Lire plus

We were in the mood for something different, a place with a patio and music but not a place where you weren't able to move or order anything without waiting in line. We made a good choice in going to Fitzrays. We all tried something different and everyone was happy with their food (apparently the veggie burger is outstanding, i am a meatalohic though so i'll take her word for that one). The staff was very attentive and got everything right, and made sure we always had a full beverage. There was some guy playing guitar - Graham something - who was very good and not too loud. We may end up going here every Friday in the summer. Lire plus

I get lunch at Nooners several times a week and have done so for at least 10 years (usually take-out). The food is always delicious - very fresh and homemade. Their soups and sandwiches are especially good (and the cookies....). I find the staff are always friendly, know regular customers by name (and their usual orders) and are very efficient despite the large number of people who are there for lunch every day. I do not think there is a lunch place anywhere else in London that can match Nooners for quality, speed and value. Lire plus

My first visit was pleasant enough. We were greeted right away and accomodated for our party of 5. At first I was not really impressed with only the 'make your own stirfry' option for dinner but was told it was excellent. Tons of selection of meats, veggies and sauces...wasn't sure where to start! Guys at the fryer seemed to really enjoy their jobs, it was very entertaining to watch. Food was really yummy. Atmosphere was alright, didn't really notice any defectives like others are posting. Waitress was somewhat reliable in refilling our drinks. When it comes to tipping, the guys at the fryer really earn theirs however not sure about the waitresses as all they did was bring us water....nothing from the menu was ordered. The only downside to this place is the price (15.99 per person Mon-Thurs is the deal we did) but I guess for others it's an awesome price for the food. Lire plus

Ive been to several sushi restaurants in London including Kawa, Wonder, etc. and Sushi Ya has hands down the best maki and nigiri I've had in the city. Lots and lots of options for rolls, doesn't stick to the bog standard, which seems to be one of the biggest issues for every other sushi restaurant in London. Creative and delicious combinations. Fair prices, the box deals are a great value. The couple that runs it are very pleasant and nice, plus its a really small place, pretty adorable stuff. Highly recommended to all. Lire plus
