On Oct 1st,2017 my wife and I went to the Olive Garden Resturant on 36th St NE South. Upon arrival the hostess at the front desk where just two bubbling young ladies. They took us to our seats and then our waiter named Kaylin took our order. We have eaten out a lot in our lives. But the service and friendliness of Kaylin our waiter was fantastic The food was also some of the best I have had. I had the shrimp chicken, Carbonari it was to die for. This is a well hidden little Italy restraint. Once you walk in you feel like you are transported to the land of olives and pizza. The food is rich in fresh spices and taste like a blast of flavour every time your fork reaches your mouth. The price is reasonable and portions are very fair. While Osteria is not designed to be particularly "child friendly," the staff went out of their way to keep our hungry toddler happy during a wait that took longer than anticipated (these things happen when you wander in on a Friday night without reservations). The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. If I lived in the neighborhood this is definitely a place where I could become a regular. And in the end, the food was well worth the wait.
