I just moved to the area and found Pride in Grooming online. I wanted to avoid a crowded salon experience for my giant schnauzer and searched for an at-home groomer. The house was clean and ready for my dog's arrival & Greg's friendly personality put us all at ease. The grooming was outstanding, he did just what we asked & left no tufts untrimmed! Prices are overly reasonable for the care & attention. Our dog is proud & prancy so I am happy to say we have found our groomer in Kitchener. Lire plus

My family took our dog to this grooming place, we were recommended by a friend. Earlier in the year, she got groomed at PetSmart after we took her there she had a huge trauma. She would hide under the bed for days and shake, she could barely walk (they cut her nails too short). Our dog came back very well nurtured, the nails were cut at a perfect length, all the mattings were gone, she was just as happy when we left her there at the beginning of the day. 10/10 would recommend! I just recently picked my dog up from his first stay at Diamond in the Ruff Pet Retreat in Guelph. He came home happy, well fed and sleepy from playing outside. The kennel is on private property with the kennel owners on site all the time. The kennel is designed with a large outdoor wooded area for walks and off leash runs, one indoor playroom and a few outdoor play yards. When I asked to look around the kennel, the girl at the front desk was more than willing to show me every room and area within the kennel. All rooms were clean and nicely air conditioned, and all dogs seemed comfortable and happy. The packages they offer are also a great way to break up the dog's day so that he can have time outside and does not have to be in his kennel all day. I would recommend this kennel for every dog and for all lengths of stay, especially for long trips. I will most certainly be bringing my dog back to Diamond in the Ruff during my next vacation.
