The order bar is at the front door. Lots of warm colours with smiling faces that are always patient and help full. For those that can't make up their minds your not hurried or rushed to make purchases. There are exceptions of course. The atmosphere is roomy, with enough space between tables for privacy.
If your order is not ready at purchase point then the staff will bring it to you with out the feeling that you need to tip again if you did. Great seating with leather couches. Chairs and tables are far enough apart to have reasonably private conversation. The patio is overlooking the Bay. Hope that you like birds. Parking is walking distance or one minute from entrance. I liked that you are left alone, you don't have to be on your game, you can be friendly or not, depending on the person.

What an experience for Hamilton History. I almost felt like I did when I was a child back home!!!!!! Thank you for your hospitality and enormous knowledge of the past and future. Cheers guys, job well done!!!!!!!

Went here several times a month with family throughout the 80s & early 90s. A lot of great memories and got goosebumps when I walked in the doors nearly 20 years later. Same decor, same great food & service, and Sinatra is still the music of choice. The cheese manicotti is even better than I remember and I can't believe I went without a Troc Salad for so long. Delicious & fresh tossed in the same homemade vinaigrette. And the meatballs? Simply awesome. It's a trip back in time for sure. I can't tell you how happy I am that I have rediscovered this Hamilton landmark. And that after 70 years the same high standards still hold up. Only open weekends and closed in the summer starting in July I think. If you're on the fence, just go you won't regret it.

Excellent food, every time. The breakfast specials on the weekend are always excellent. Why yes I would love some lobster on my eggs benedict!
Even the standard menu items are awesome. Great homefries, perfectly done eggs, cute kitschy atmosphere.
Complimentary coffee/hot cider when there's a wait is also a great bonus

Rose is incredible. I was in rough shape when I found her, as I'm sure many are, and she was incredibly welcoming right away and made me feel comfortable as I shared my situation with her even though I was very emotional and distraught. Her work is thorough and accurate, and she really went above and beyond to make sure I was okay following our session, texting me and checking in. I don't think there's anyone who wouldn't benefit from meeting her.

Yahoo! I was loving it! The food was scrumptious and salty. The drinks were icy cold and sweet. The atmosphere was grim and surly. Seats ripped and torn, tables crummy and sticky. I had my engagement session done with Lucas and it was amazing! He was super easy going, made it comfortable for us, especially knowing my fiance wasnt a picture person and once he seen them he LOVED the pictures!
He just did our wedding at the end of May and even though I only saw some sneak peaks I am beyond pleased and honestly cant wait to see the final photos!
Lucas is amazing to work with, hes super friendly and makes everything fun and exciting! I would highly recommend him any day!

I have been a patient of Dr. Prays for about 20 years. I have always been impressed with the staff at Dr. Prays office. They are friendly , professional , and knowledgeable. Even though I only go to Dr. Pray s office 3 or 4 times a year , the staff greets me by name. Dr. Pray always takes the required time on each visit to examine me , ask questions about my concerns and permits me to ask all the questions I have to ask , and he answers them in a way that I can understand. We loved it. We've stopped in several times. There's a nice selection and the food is fabulous. I love the Caesar Salad -- they even do takeout. A great selection of coffee and delightful desserts. I think most of the staff is family so they put their hearts into it and it shows. Service is speedy and friendly. It's not a designer establishment but it's very clean and welcoming.
